Casual Career Slay

In true personality hire fashion, you always gotta be making connections or fostering the ones you already have.

Summer is the perfect time to reach out to an old mentor, manager, or coworker! Check in & get some outside perspective on your work, your life, how to achieve your goals.

Don’t forget to spill the tea!

If someone hits you up because they want to meet you or learn from you, you should say yes to at least 1 new person. You never know, they could be the next big thing.

 

Hot Girl Dinner

Remember how on a true hot girl walk, you’re only allowed to think about things you’re grateful for, your goals and how you’re going to achieve them, and how hot you are?

✨Let’s do it while we eat✨

I challenge you to have one solo meal a day without watching YouTube, without scrolling social media, no music, without calling anyone or talking to anyone. Literally sit there for 15 or 20 minutes with your thoughts.

The main benefit:

  • If your screen time is absolutely heinous (don’t worry, mine is almost always 7+ hrs/day), this gives you some time to disconnect. Instead of being bombarded with messages and videos and posts, you can let your mind take a break. You may be surprised what you start thinking about.

 

Flirty Summer Romance

You gotta have one! There’s nothing like a summer fling!

If the sun is out, you are out. Go to the pool parties and get people’s phone numbers, their Instagrams, or even their LinkedIns (if you’re into that).

And there’s nothing hotter than a follow through — so if you do get their number, use it.

OR for those of us in loving, committed relationships you HAVE to go on a cute summer date. Picnics, paddle boarding, amusement parks, farmers markets, anything where sundresses can be worn.
