social media rule #8

hot girls work smarteršŸ’…

Hellooo boys and girls, welcome back to The Personality Hireā€¦your favorite email of the week.

Iā€™m still on a high from the love that my last newsletter received. Naturally, it was all about beehiivā€™s socials.

Today Iā€™m breaking down one of my cardinal rules as a full stack social media girlie juggling 4 brand accounts, my own personal accounts (where I yap), and this newsletter (where I also yap).

Letā€™s get itttt:

BRā€™s Cardinal Rule #8: When in doubt, redistribute

When you have a ton of social content to manage, youā€™re gonna reuse and recycle the content that worked. The bangers.

Seems pretty obvious, but we could all use a reminder on this one. I definitely did not do a good job of redistributing social content during my first few months running brand accounts.

āœØ Just say it again āœØ

The reality is that when your social media accounts grow, all those new people didnā€™t see the really good content you made 3, 6, or 9 months ago. And whoā€™s to say a lot of your followers even saw it??

You may be hyper aware of everything you post, but your audience def is not.

For that reason, you can just say stuff youā€™ve already saidā€¦but just a little differently.

Hereā€™s an example of a relatable joke Iā€™ve made from beehiivā€™s Twitter multiple times:

These were all posted on a Sunday night with the same premise of ā€œyouā€™re procrastinating, time to write,ā€ but I just said that in a few different ways.

Always good to continuously pump evergreen content! Hot girls work smarteršŸ’…

āœØ Make it work for other platforms āœØ

If we have good content, why only put it one place?

Sometimes, itā€™s as simple as taking a screenshot, and the content becomes a meme template of sortsā€¦

Other times, itā€™s turning a Twitter thread into a LinkedIn or IG Carousel with a few more visuals, or even a video. There are countless ways to do this tbh, but you get it.

I just care about how many silly little jokes I can make and how many people will see them.

Kidding! but actuallyā€¦

What Iā€™ve been up to (in my yoga era)

I absolutely hate to admit thisā€¦but whoever said ā€œmoving your body regularly makes you feel goodā€ was right šŸ’”

Iā€™ve been doing hot yoga / yoga sculpt at CorePower for the past few months and itā€™s honestly so slay:

  • youā€™re challenging yourself physically

  • you practice intentional breathing

  • you must be focused + present the whole time on your mat ā€” all real life distractions and responsibilities melt away for 60 minutes

Am I fighting for my life in every single sculpt class? Yes.

Will I be going back next week? 100%

Cute yoga clothes make it easier btw!!

Let this be your reminder to move your body today!

Maybe take a hot girl walk to get a sweet treat? The calories cancel out on this one, itā€™s PEMDAS.

And if you need more motivationā€¦hot girl summer is quickly approaching, so go clock in tbh

Silly things you can say on the daily to make you funnier:

  1. ā€œThatā€™s not my storyā€: use this when youā€™re explaining something that you personally wouldnā€™t do or wouldnā€™t have done.

"He totally listened to both Tortured Poetā€™s Department albums the night they came out, but thatā€™s personally not my story.ā€

  2. ā€œAll blues and no cluesā€: use this when you donā€™t know the answer, you donā€™t know what to do, you donā€™t know whatā€™s going onā€¦you just donā€™t know.

ā€œDid you see all the Harry Jowsey and Riley Arnold tea on TikTok???ā€

ā€œIā€™m all blues and no clues on that oneā€¦but tell me.ā€

(On the real Iā€™ve been following the Harry / Riley tea if anyone wants to chat about it šŸ˜)

Thatā€™s it from me today! Canā€™t wait for all of us to grow into the hottest, slayest most confident most beautiful-brilliant-hilarious-radiant versions of ourselves.

Stay sexy and see you next time!
