How hot girls get shit done

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about procrastination.

I used to justify avoiding an activity by over-planning how and when I was going to get it done. Or even how and when I was going to start.

But then, I was introduced to the concept of DIRN: Do It Right Now.

The rats are absolutely going to hate this announcement, but turns out everything is easier and better if you literally just do what you’re stressed about doing right now, even if you’re scared to start.

For example, I absolutely was procrastinating doing my taxes because I was generally dreading it (obviously).

Then, I picked a date to do it. The Saturday before I took a fun trip to Mexico.

When that Saturday rolled around, I certainly did not do my taxes. Instead, I did normal Saturday things.

Then, I decided to do it the weekend I got back, which didn’t happen either.

One Monday night I was literally annoyed with the fact that I had this task looming over my head. So, I decided to DIRN it.

And it didn’t even take me that long, and I’m getting a refund🕺

Any recommendations for what I should spend it on?

The hottest thing you can do? Literally, just do it right now.

What I’ve been up to (work version)

Went to Mexico City to visit my big sis, and met up with one of my beehiiv work besties, Elden, while I was there!

I loooove meeting and co-working with people IRL.

If beehiiv had an office, I would be the social media person who walks around and makes everyone be in our company TikToks (that would go hella viral).
