Helloooo personality hires
Welcome back to your favorite email of the week :)
Today’s short n sweet edition is all about the new trendy lingo you gotta use in the office.
Let’s go girls
Phrases the personality hires are using this week:
“Very demure, very mindful, and very cutesy”
This one’s very new! Trending as of, like, 2 days ago. The phrase was coined by TikToker Joolie Lebron.
She’s made being “demure” her whole schtick since her video about looking “modest and respectful” in the workplace got 12 million views.
I think the video is satire, but if we’re being for real, no one needs to be wearing a green cut crease in their Monday meeting anyway.
@joolieannie #fyp #demure
So now all the hot girls are using “very demure, very mindful, very cutesy” when describing any task they’re doing in somewhat of a respectful way.
Good news! There’s no actual deep meaning to the internet’s new found demure mindfulness.
Literally anything you do can be demure, mindful, and cutesy: how you show up to work, how you send your morning emails, or even how you roast your boss.
you see how i didnt say the first insane thing that popped in my head? very demure very mindful

“He did his big one”
Any Love Island fans out there???
This one has been recently popularized by our Love Island USA queen, Leah. She quickly became the fan favorite this season because she’s 1) hilarious 2) authentic 3) gorgeous.
A “big one” is meant to refer to a noteworthy event or action.
Here’s Leah saying it in a sarcastic way though (my favorite way to use it as well).
@obx_edits_24 Leahs in her bad bitch era #foryoupage #f #fypシ゚viral #rob #loveisland #loveislandusa #loveislandusaseason6 #leah #glowupforreal #fake #liv
Do “your big one” with a cool project, presentation, or a really good joke in your next 1:1.
“I fear”
Not new, but nuanced😏
Add “I fear” to the beginning or the end of your sentence. Whether the subject of your sentence is good or bad, you fear it.
Some great examples of “I fear:”
No one has ever topped her, I fear
